Student veterans bring leadership, discipline, technical expertise, and a commitment to service that strengthens our classrooms, campuses, workplaces, and communities.
Whether transitioning from military service into higher education or continuing professional development, SkillsUSA provides opportunities for veterans to lead, compete, serve, and connect with fellow students and industry partners.
Veteran Recognition Program
The SkillsUSA Tennessee Veteran Recognition Program honors SkillsUSA members who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Eligible members may receive the official SkillsUSA Tennessee Veteran Leadership Pin, proudly worn on the official SkillsUSA red blazer as a symbol of military service and continued leadership.
Veteran Leadership Pin
The Veteran Leadership Pin recognizes SkillsUSA members who have honorably served in the United States military while continuing their leadership journey through Career and Technical Education.
Each pin includes a branch-specific dangle identifying the recipient's military service. The pin is worn on the official red blazer over the left pocket.
