SkillsUSA Week is an annual celebration of career and technical education, leadership development, service, advocacy, and workforce readiness. Chapters across Tennessee can participate by recognizing supporters, giving back to their communities, connecting with industry partners, advocating for CTE, and showing SkillsUSA pride.
SkillsUSA Week will be held February 1-5, 2027. Members are encouraged to plan activities that follow the daily schedule of events using the SkillsUSA Week Chapter Guide.

Monday
Recognition Day
Recognize and honor members, advisors, administrators, business partners, community leaders, and supporters who make a meaningful impact on your CTE program and SkillsUSA chapter.
Tuesday
Give Back Day
Rally around your school community by identifying needs, completing service projects, and showing how SkillsUSA members care for others.
Wednesday
Partner Day
Invite local business, community, and industry leaders to learn more about your chapter and the career-readiness skills developed through SkillsUSA.
Thursday
Advocacy Day
Amplify CTE by presenting to school leaders, community groups, elected officials, or industry partners about your program and SkillsUSA chapter.
Friday
SkillsUSA Day
Wear SkillsUSA attire, share chapter activities, promote SkillsUSA across campus, and celebrate the impact of career and technical education.

Recognition Day Ideas
- Honor members, advisors, administrators, business partners, community leaders, and supporters.
- Recognize instructors with a small gift, meal, thank-you note, or appreciation activity.
- Recognize campus leaders with a certificate of appreciation or honorary SkillsUSA membership.
- Invite local press or campus communications staff to cover your activities.
Give Back Day Ideas
- Work with campus leaders to identify areas of need.
- Complete a community service project.
- Visit a nursing home or community organization.
- Host a car care clinic or technical service event.
- Donate needed items to a local shelter, hospital, or community partner.
- Complete a campus cleanup, landscaping project, or beautification activity.
- Share your chapter’s service efforts on social media.
Partner Day Ideas
- Invite local business and industry leaders to a chapter meeting.

Advocacy Day Ideas
- Present to school board members, administrators, community leaders, or elected officials.
- Request a proclamation from a mayor, city council, county commission, or school board.

- Invite parents, community leaders, business partners, and prospective students to visit programs.
- Visit a local elementary or middle school to talk about career and technical education.

Chapters are encouraged to share photos, stories, and highlights throughout the week. Tag SkillsUSA Tennessee Postsecondary and use SkillsUSA hashtags when posting on social media.
