We are excited to begin our 2026 journey towards the SkillsUSA National Conference. Champion Your Future! The guest speaker for the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) Opening General Session is IndyCar Champion Josef Newgarden, presented by Snap-on Incorporated.
SkillsUSA heads to Atlanta, Ga., June 1-6, for the annual National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), a showcase of career and technical education students. More than 17,000 people — including students, teachers and business partners — are expected to participate in the weeklong event.
Before the conference technically begins, experiences for students and advisors, including Leverage (State Officers May 30-June 1), Credentialing Opportunities, SkillsUSA TECHSPO, Immersive Experience: Construction, SkillsUSA Academy, and much more. Intense and rewarding, these three events cover individual, group, and interactive leadership training.
On Monday, the SkillsUSA Tennessee C/PS Kickoff Delegation Meeting.
On Tuesday, the Opening Ceremony is the first official conference event.
Delegate sessions for middle-school, high-school and college/postsecondary students are conducted by the national officers. The sessions provide a platform to conduct the organization’s official business, elect student leaders and recognize state association voting delegates.
SkillsUSA TECHSPO is located on the competition floor. Look for products available to purchase from SkillsUSA’s sponsors and vendors in both indoor and outdoor exhibits.
The SkillsUSA Championships will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. More than 7,500 outstanding career and technical education students – all state contest winners – will compete hands-on in 107 different trade, technical, and leadership fields. Students work against the clock and each other, proving their expertise in occupations such as electronics, computer-aided drafting, precision machining, medical assisting, and culinary arts. Contests are run with the help of industry, trade associations, and labor organizations, and test competencies are set by ndustry. Leadership contestants will demonstrate skills such as extemporaneous speaking and conducting meetings in accordance with parliamentary procedure. The competitions will be open to the public and free of charge.
Thursday also includes the Champions Festival at Olympic Centennial Park.
The week caps off with the Awards Ceremony on Friday evening. Immediately following is the SkillsUSA Tennessee C/PS Banquet and Awards Celebration.

On Monday, June 1st, we will have our official Delegate Meeting and Welcome Session and registration pickup at 6:30, Which is mandatory. Registration & Welcome Session.

Tuesday, June 2nd is mandatory orientation in official dress with tools and also Opening Ceremonies at State Farm Arena

Wednesday, June 3rd, and Thursday, June 4th, are Championships, with Thursday being the Championship Festival at Olympic Centennial Park.

Friday Debriefs for Contestants, Community Service Project, and Grand Awards.

We will have our Tennessee State of the State Banquet immediately following the Grand Awards on Friday, June 4th SkillsUSA TN C/PS Banquet and Awards Celebration.

Day passes will be sold on the National's website.

SkillsUSA TN C/PS Travel Manifest Form for travel type and arrival times so the hotel can plan for busy times and know when to add staff etc.
