As a tribute to our US Veterans, we are pleased to offer a SkillsUSA pin that has be added to the official dress uniform of Tennessee students. The 2023-24 Veteran State Officers and our State Officer President have collaborated to design a Veteran's Leadership Challenge Pin, which is currently in production. If you have SkillsUSA members who have served in the military and you feel are excellent leaders, we encourage you to fill out the request form. Please note that you will need to fill out a separate form for each veteran you recognize.
The concept design of the pin can be viewed below. We expect the pins to be ready by the beginning of January 2024. Each pin will include a hanging banner that displays the SkillsUSA Veteran's branch of the military in which the veteran served. The pin will be placed on the official red blazer over the left pocket. If the recipient has earned a Tennessee or National Statesmen pin, it will be placed above the Statesmen pin and centered with it.
