Who is eligible?

SkillsUSA is a professional organization that is designed to be run by students, for their own growth and benefit. SkillsUSA members develop into well-rounded people with technical, academic and employability skills that will help them get a job and have a successful career. Through chapter meetings, contests, leadership conferences and activities, students will build these skills. Each chapter chooses, plans and conducts its own activities. Membership Dues

SkillsUSA Tennessee Postsecondary is a Total Participation Program whereby the dues are paid for all career and technical education students and instructors by Tennessee Board of Regents. As a complimentary benefit of membership, students and instructors have free access to Career Essentials Foundations located on the SkillsUSA.org site.

Upon request, SkillsUSA will mail a SkillsUSA Membership Kit or New Chapter kit to help you get started and involve staff and students. To request a FREE kit, call 800-355-8422.
