Each year, thousands of Tennessee students participate through chapter activities, leadership conferences, technical competitions, career exploration, community service, and partnerships with business and industry.

Who Can Participate?

Serving Tennessee's Career and Technical Education Students

SkillsUSA Tennessee College/Postsecondary serves career and technical education students and instructors at Tennessee community colleges, Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology, and other eligible postsecondary institutions.

Membership is open to students enrolled in programs that prepare graduates for high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand careers.

Every SkillsUSA chapter is student-led and advisor-supported, giving members opportunities to build leadership while strengthening technical knowledge and professional confidence.

Membership

Access Without Barriers

SkillsUSA Tennessee College/Postsecondary operates as a Total Participation Program for Tennessee Board of Regents institutions. Membership dues are funded for eligible career and technical education students and instructors at Tennessee community colleges and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology.

Institutions outside the Tennessee Board of Regents system may participate through the standard SkillsUSA membership registration and dues process.
