Membership & Registration Mapper
Search a Tennessee program or mapped general education course to see its alignment to the new 14-cluster Advance CTE Career Clusters framework, the SkillsUSA training program to select in the registration portal, and the applicable registration IDs.
Bulk Membership Upload
Registering a large group? Use the SkillsUSA membership template and the Mapper together. First identify the correct SkillsUSA training program, Chapter ID, and active Section ID for each program. Then prepare and upload your membership file.
- Open SkillsUSA Registration. Go to the SkillsUSA registration portal, choose Membership, then select Upload Membership Data.
- Download the Full Template. After logging in to SkillsUSA Registration, go to Membership > Upload Membership Data and select Full Template, or download the Membership Bulk Upload Template directly from the button above. Save the workbook with a name you will recognize before entering data.
- Use the Mapper before filling the file. Search your college and each program below to confirm the correct SkillsUSA training program, Chapter ID, and active Section ID.
- Export your student roster. Pull the student information you need from your college's student information or reporting system.
- Match the SkillsUSA template columns. Rearrange your source data so its columns match the SkillsUSA Full Template, then transfer students into the appropriate program or section.
- Keep required blank columns truly blank. If the template requires blank columns, create blank columns rather than dragging or copy-filling values into them.
- Review the file before upload. Confirm student names, dates of birth, program placement, Chapter ID, Section ID, and other required fields. Each student should be registered only once even if the student appears in more than one qualifying course or program.
- Upload the completed Excel file. Return to Membership > Upload Membership Data, click Browse, select your completed Excel file, and choose the upload button.
- Review errors and duplicates. The registration system will identify issues or duplicate records. Correct the file as needed and contact SkillsUSA Customer Care if an issue cannot be resolved.
The original instructions were developed from a college workflow that used a specific local report. Because reporting systems vary by institution, the statewide steps above use your college's equivalent student roster or information export.
