SkillsUSA Tennessee College/Postsecondary prepares students for career success by combining technical education, leadership development, workplace readiness, and industry engagement. Whether students are learning a skilled trade, studying healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, transportation, public safety, or another career pathway, SkillsUSA provides opportunities to develop the skills employers value most.
Each year, thousands of Tennessee students participate in SkillsUSA through chapter activities, leadership conferences, technical competitions, career exploration, community service, and partnerships with business and industry.
Who Can Participate?
SkillsUSA Tennessee College/Postsecondary serves career and technical education students and instructors at Tennessee community colleges, Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology, and other eligible postsecondary institutions.
Membership is open to students enrolled in career and technical education programs that prepare graduates for high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand careers.
Every SkillsUSA chapter is student-led and advisor-supported, giving members opportunities to build leadership skills while strengthening their technical abilities.

Membership
SkillsUSA Tennessee College/Postsecondary operates as a Total Participation Program for Tennessee Board of Regents institutions. Membership dues are funded for eligible career and technical education students and instructors at Tennessee community colleges and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology.
Institutions outside of the Tennessee Board of Regents system may participate through the standard SkillsUSA membership registration and dues process.
